Our Story
We started Yaktak because Canadian owners were leaving money and opportunity on the table.
Every year, billions of dollars in Canadian government funding, tax credits, and public-sector contracts go unclaimed — not because businesses don't qualify, but because the systems are fragmented, the language is technical, and the people writing about them don't actually run companies.
Yaktak Solutions was founded by operators who had been on both sides — running businesses that scaled through funding and procurement wins, and watching peers struggle with the exact same programs. We built the firm we wished we'd had when we started.
Today we work with Canadian owners across manufacturing, professional services, food and beverage, technology, and retail — helping them fund growth, win contracts, tighten operations, and build brands that scale beyond a single location.

Every engagement begins with a discovery call and a plain-language assessment. If we can't clearly help you make or save more than you'd pay us, we say so.
When we do engage, we handle the technical work end-to-end — applications, narratives, financials, SOPs, procurement submissions — and coordinate with your accountant, lawyer, or bookkeeper as needed. You review, approve, and stay in control.
We serve Canadian businesses nationally from our Greater Toronto Area office, with meetings on-site, virtual, or hybrid depending on what makes sense for your team.
